Little Nans is a multi-award winning pop up cocktail bar and afternoon tea parlour, serving cocktails in tea-cups and booze at vintage prices in a fabulously kitsch surroundings reminiscent of your Nan’s living room. Expect a riot of leopard print, ornaments adorning the shelves, pictures of the Queen Mum and Pat Butcher on the wall and a banging 90's soundtrack on the decks.
Little Nan’s food menu is little like Nan. Be sure to try her legendary Disco Fries or Grandson Tristan’s toast Toppings. You'll be spoilt for choice with over 40 toppings served on a selection of more than 8 varieties of toast!
Tristan is the proud Grandson of Little Nan, long term Deptford resident, Deptford Market enthusiast and The Deptford Army's Co-chief commander.
Back in the day, Tristan ran The Deptford Arms Public House on the High Street. He then went onto run a variety of South London music venues and clubs before launching the first incarnation of Little Nan's Bar in Deptford.
Pop in to the bar in Arch 14 and hear Tristan's many stories about his beloved Deptford.
Little Nan's is a tribute to Tristan's much-loved Nanny Jojo and an extra place to store his collection of vintage heirlooms from Deptford Market. After being forced to leave her first home in Deptford several years ago, Little Nan’s Bar went on tour and has gone from strength to strength.
The bar has popped up in New Cross, Greenwich, Nunhead, Peckham, Brockley, Shoreditch, Dalston, Catford and Hackney. Awards include 'Best Place to Drink in London' in the Dot London Awards 2016 and the bar has featured in the 'Vintage Guide to London' for the past 3 years.
