๐—”๐—ด๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐—ป๐˜€๐˜ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ฅ๐˜‚๐—ป ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐—ฃ๐—น๐—ฎ๐˜† is a programme of cultural events and commissions taking place in South East London around the women’s football World Cup. St Paul's House, on the corner of the Deptford Market Yard and Deptford High Street has been transformed into a football hub for the duration of the tournament, where you can find a big screen, drinks at competitive prices and friendly vibes.

Wednesday, June 19 from 6:30 - 10pm at the ๐€๐ ๐š๐ข๐ง๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐‘๐ฎ๐ง ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐๐ฅ๐š๐ฒ ๐ก๐ฎ๐›, St. Paul's House, 121 Deptford High St, SE8 4NS.

Moving Image Screening + England v. Japan match screening

The short films will start from 6:30pm
Kick off England v. Japan at 8pm

This screening night brings you an eclectic mix of short artists' films, all about football! Whatever the format - be it claymation, animation, appropriated footage or documentary film - each of the ten films on show capture an aspect of the action on and off the pitch that surrounds the game.

Sunday, June 23 from 2 - 4:30pm on the rooftop of the ๐ƒ๐ž๐ฉ๐ญ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ๐ ๐‹๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐ ๐ž at 9 Giffin St, Deptford, London, SE8 4RJ.

Join us for a rule-breaking ball game & workshop led by Glasgow-based artist duo ๐๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ & ๐‘๐จ๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข.

Taking place on the ๐ƒ๐ž๐ฉ๐ญ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ๐ ๐‹๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐ ๐ž ๐ซ๐จ๐จ๐Ÿ๐ญ๐จ๐ฉ ๐›๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐œ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ญ, the group will develop an absurdist ball game, creating a free space to make, break and reshape the rules of football, using the body, voice, props and collective action. The game will explore methods of collaborative movement, accompanied by improvised chants. We will host a medal ceremony to close off the event and reward all participants.

Followed by not one, but two match screenings: Round of 16, kick off at ๐Ÿ’:๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŽ๐ฉ๐ฆ & ๐Ÿ–๐ฉ๐ฆ at the ๐€๐ ๐š๐ข๐ง๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐‘๐ฎ๐ง ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐๐ฅ๐š๐ฒ ๐ก๐ฎ๐›, across the road at St. Paul's House, 121 Deptford High St, SE8 4NS.

Panel conversation on creative practices making a change in football, from a feminist perspective. Includes a potluck lunch.

Followed by screenings of both semi final games, first kick off at 2pm then 5:30pm.
