Plain Bear is a retail business designing its own bold prints that pop from the usual saturated use of imagery and text. The company's approach to fashion design is 'keep it simple' and 'less is more'.
Owner Frank has been peddling the Plain Bear brand at Greenwich and Spitalfields market for 3 years. Putting his fine art degree to good use, and taking inspiration from the streets of London, he designs and prints everything locally in his Peckham studio.
After studying sculpture at University and finding the job market virtually empty, Frank turned to the Prince's Trust and with the help of a loan, Plain Bear was set up on a small budget. Now opening up shop at Deptford Market Yard, find Plain Bear's street brand of hats, tees, jumpers and more in Arch 2.
