Come and celebrate Deptford's first ever Community Pride at Deptford Market Yard. This free event aims to create engaging conversations on social change and intersectionality as well as a chance to celebrate our sexualities in an all-welcoming and inclusive environment.
There'll be empowering workshops, inspiring activist stalls and amazing performances and DJ's. Compare for the day will be Queer cabaret and performance artist Kevin Le Grande. Using speech, song and dance to discuss politics and share stories for comedic effect, she has performed in venues all over the country. She’s sick, she’s tired and she has something to say!
This event has been organised by Georgia Little - a queer feminist activist based in South East London, involved in campaign groups such as Sisters Uncut and
Jessica Childs, a QTIPOC illustrator and owner of Childsdraw in Arch 7.
