Hank’s Burgers & Beer is the first permanent home for the team behind Hank’s Street Food, an American-influenced market stall. It has a short burger menu designed to please meat eaters, fish lovers, vegetarians and vegans alike.
American-style craft beer from Bianca Road brewery is on tap, alongside an ever-changing can menu curated by our Deptford Market Yard neighbours Hop, Burns & Black, who every month will take on the task of matching new beers to the burgers.
It's a hard job but someone has to do it!
All of the sauces are made in-house at Hank's Deptford kitchen and spice mixes are blended by hand in SE London. Everything at Hank’s is sustainable, high quality and, as much as possible, sourced from independent London suppliers.
The menu at Hank's was created by Simon, who swapped office life for street food just over four years ago. Inspired by a love for quality burgers and craft beer, his new venture really is a labour of love and a kind of homecoming - he sold his first sandwich from a stall in Giffin Square and is excited to be back in Deptford full time.
Hank's is a regular on London's street food scene. Run by SE Londoners Simon and Vic, they moved from a monthly pitch in Giffin Square in 2014 to Model Market in Lewisham, before joining street food collective KERB and the Southbank Centre Market. Deptford Market Yard is their first permanent home, but you might recognise them from the weekly Deptford Bites market, where they pitched up every week before getting the keys to Arch 12.
